TTom Fazio was given a completely blank canvas and nearly limitless budget to create the best golf course with an “old-school feel in the mold of Bel-Air or Riviera.” The Madison has massive refrigeration systems buried under each green to cool the bentgrass on the putting surfaces. This course is not only impressive in its design and now, infrastructure, but it challenges every club in the bag with the exact intention of doing so.
