Avanterra is part of a $2.5 billion environmentally progressive, master-planned community with a section of residences attached to the Fairmont brand name. This LEED-Certified community will consist of nearly a million square feet of retail space, 1,900 residential condominiums, and a 700,000 square foot office park designed to integrate the best of an old world village with the best of modern conveniences. The first phase consists of 125 condominiums called the Fairmont Residences and are expected to be available in 2009. These residences will benefit from the amenities and services offered by the Fairmont Hotel, which includes the 45,000 square foot Willow Stream Spa, golf and fine-dining. Estimated build out time for Avanterra is six to eight years and this will include parks, a planetarium, underground parking to make room for plenty of play work, relaxing and living space, and many more urban amenities. Avanterra will be its own masterplanned, upscale, and environmentally progressive village in the heart of Palm Desert.
Avanterra will offer several styles of homes to fit an array of living spaces and preferences. Phase one will consist of only 125 Fairmont Residence condos. As build out continues, Avanterra will offer additional upscale condos, golf course villas, townhomes, and single-family homes.

he Classic Club golf course at Avanterra is an Arnold Palmer Signature championship course operated by Troon Golf. This course is ranked among America's Top 5 public golf courses by Golf Digest. The Classic Club hosts the annual Bob Hope Chrysler Classic bringing some of the best players in the US to Avanterra.
